EMERGENCY AID
Purpose: To identify college seniors from an Atlanta-area HBCU experiencing a financial crisis that may hinder their scheduled May 2020 graduation.
The Ivy & Roses Community Fund, Inc. (IRCF) was founded in 2003 by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Pi Alpha Omega Chapter. As a 501 (c)(3), the IRCF was established to acquire resources to support and promote programs and services to meet the changing needs of citizens of metropolitan Atlanta. The Ivy & Roses Community Find, Inc. operates as a separate entity from Pi Alpha Omega Chapter.
The mission of The Ivy & Roses Community Fund, Inc. is to develop charitable, civic, and direct service programs including scholarships, educational assistance, and partnerships with other agencies to expand community impact.
Emergency Aid Reward: Various college seniors selected from the pool of qualified applicants will be awarded scholarships for financial assistance to be disbursed in April 2020 for a one-time award up to $1,000 based on need as verified by the attending University or College. Application must be submitted March 15 – April 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. GPA and extracurricular activities are not required but may assist in the selection process.
QUALIFICATIONS

- You must be a Senior graduating in May 2020
- Provide Transcript showing current student status
- Current bill from an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in Atlanta, GA
- Complete narrative of no more than 250 words describing the financial hardship you are experiencing and how this scholarship will assist you in graduating in May 2020
